Hey, I’m Jen and this is my blog.

The Style Crusader was founded in 2009 as a distraction from a pretty heavy degree in political theory. I was doing a masters at the London School of Economics but instead of spending time in the library I ran amok taking photos of beautiful people and incredible clothes. All hope was lost after I went to fashion week for the first time. The glitz and glam was too much to resist and I realized there was no chance I could go back to the normal world.

After graduating I did work experience in Westminster, where I officially decided I didn’t want to spend my days in an office surrounded by suits discussing devolution.

All this to say, I never expected to wind up here.

The Style Crusader chronicles my adventures… from fashion week to photo shoots, press days and coffee breaks. You’ll get an inside peek into my life and the beautiful things that trickle into it (shoes, landscapes and lattes often make appearances).
