ETRE TOUCHY GLOVES…
With the 21st century has come a new and very real danger: cold fingers when using touch screen devices.
We’ve all been there… it’s freezing and you’re standing in front of the most mesmerizing scene (probably a latte or your shoes against the pavement). Desperate to take a photo but your gloves are standing in the way. No matter how hard you push, the screen of you iPhone just won’t register your finger. Oh the misery. Surely it ranks up there next to world hunger and disarmament.
When I came across these gloves I thought their claim to be compatible with all touch screen devices just couldn’t be true. Surely if such technology existed every glove manufacturer would have embraced it already? Not so, these guys are just ahead of the game. There are two different types available. The first doesn’t have a tip on the thumb and first finger. Kind of like fingerless gloves – except they are only fingerless where it really matters, making it much easier to use finicky devices like a camera. The second, has the brand’s special contactwoven fingertips – which make it possible to use touchscreen devices without any hindrance. Pretty special, eh?

As for me, I don’t have an iPad and I’m so lazy that if it’s too cold and I’m wearing gloves… I simply don’t use the phone! (if not strictly necessary, of course)

Wow! This is so clever! I”ve always hated the fact that gloves got in the way of my and my ipod, can’t turn the dial thing with my gloves on and so always had to wear those mittens (you know, the one that have a little pouch that you then pull over your fingerless glove) but these are waaaaaay cooler!! XX

I have a pair of these, they’re great but it does feel odd having 2 chilly fingertips when the rest are warm!

Mm, I think both of my fingers would be a bit sad at having two of them exposed. Both of the gloves are really cool though! I just got a pair of fingertip gloves, except it’s only contactwoven on the thumb/index finger. Thanks for sharing xx
Shoes against the pavement = most important thing you’ll ever have to capture. Please note the sarcasm; very hard to convey through type, with or without gloves on

i imagine my fingers would be quite frozen with those touchy gloves, but the five point ones are a mighty great invention that many a glove company should explore!
but still, with the bulk of the gloves added on, i imagine it’d be hard to type with accuracy on a phone x:

Right, now I know what my next purchase is going to be…. Although actually I have a pair of leather gloves which work with touchscreens too just by chance
these are a neat idea, the times-achanging. i’ve actually recently seen some leather ones with little fabric bits over the tips which still work on your devices
